Conventional Marketing Opposes Your Strategy

In the quest to reach six figures as quickly as possible, you might have adopted conventional marketing strategies without question. Maybe you’ve spent hours searching for ideal clients in online communities, jumping into their DMs, trying to ‘initiate’ conversations and create opportunities.

But here’s the thing: almost every move you’ve made could be in direct opposition to your Human Design strategy of ‘waiting to respond’. No wonder it feels like you’re spinning your wheels, and income is not where you imagined it would be by now.

Feeling exhausted from the strive and hustle, you wonder "Where’s the consistent lifeforce energy I’m supposed to have with my defined Sacral centre?"

A Disempowering Narrative

And then comes the kicker—the straw that breaks the camels back. You realise that while Generators are the "worker bees" of the Human Design system, the other types are supposedly here to stand by, watch you work, guide you, and tell you what to do. How inspiring!

I know this goes all too well, because it was my journey too. I thought it was just me, but as I met and worked with other Generators, I realised so many of us felt the same.

What happened next for me, is that despite my efforts to ignore Human Design, it kept popping up in my life, quietly calling me to take another look.

Working With vs. Against The Generator Aura

The turning point for me came when I saw an illustration of the Generator aura and how it naturally draws life, people, and opportunities towards us—things we can respond to.

That’s when something clicked.

I finally understood why the highly valued entrepreneurial trait of ‘initiating’ disrupts this natural flow of opportunities. In business, initiating products and services is like holding up a sign to the Universe that says:

"Don’t come any closer. I’m doing my own thing. Here’s a brochure."

This insight explained why building my business had been such a struggle at times, and why I didn’t feel the consistent energy Generators are ‘supposed’ to have. I realised I needed to break the deeply ingrained habit of initiating—basing my work solely on what I thought people needed.

But how?

There Is An Order To Responding

Through the process of reverse-engineering my best-selling offers, documenting what happened, following that same process consciously, and experimenting over the past seven years, I developed a framework called The Responding Sequence.

The Responding Sequence is a series of business practices and systems that enable Generators to truly embody the Human Design strategy of "Waiting to Respond". It paves the way for laid-back success in business—no hustling, no chasing clients, and no convincing anyone to buy.
